INVITATION TO SUBMIT A PROPOSAL

The Ernest N. Morial New Orleans Exhibition Hall Authority requests sealed request for proposals to provide:

JANITORIAL AND GROUNDS MAINTENANCE SERVICES

for the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center New Orleans in New Orleans, Louisiana.
To receive consideration, interested firms must submit their proposal on the forms provided herein and deliver in a sealed envelope marked “Proposal” with the Project Number and Contract Number visible to:

New Orleans, Louisiana 70130

located in the Purchasing Division on the 1st floor of the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center New Orleans near the Employee’s Entrance located on Henderson Street next to Hall J. The proposals shall be delivered no later than:

Date: Tuesday, July 10, 2008
Time: 3:00 P. M. (Central Standard Time)
at which time, properly identified Proposals received on time will be opened publicly and read aloud.
A Mandatory Site Visit and Pre-Proposal Conference will be held in the Purchasing Division Conference Room on Monday, June 23, 2008 at 3:00 P.M. (Central Standard Time). Companies that DO NOT attend the Mandatory Site Visit and Pre-Proposal Conference and submit a Proposal will not be considered for Contract Award. Proposer may obtain proposal documents from the Purchasing Office in person, by first class mail, by courier service, or via the internet at: www.mccno.com, and selecting the “Business Opportunities” category. In employing first class mail, Proposer will assume all risks of delay and untimely delivery. In using courier service, Proposer’s must arrange directly with the courier for pickup, delivery, and payment of all associated costs.
The Proposal Documents may be obtained between the hours of 8:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. Monday through Friday, holidays not included.
