BIG EASY ROLLERGIRLS HAVE THEIR FIRST BOUT OF THE SEASON THIS WEEKEND

The first bout of the season is this Saturday, October 11th, and Savvy is going to be there with food - will you be there? Should be fun!!

Most of us know someone whose life has been affected by cancer either directly or indirectly. And every moment of the day, many people from around the world work tirelessly to change this fact.

Last spring, 6 women joined together to run the New York Marathon for Fred's Team, a non-profit organization dedicated to raising critical research dollars for the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York.

Barring any unforeseen sprains or toe fractures, they plan to cross the finish line in Central Park on November 2nd. It their goal to raise $20,000 as a team, and they are well on our way.

Please join us for a super-fun FUNdraiser at The Savvy Gourmet on Friday, October 17th at 6pm, featuring catered Savvy treats, wine, beer, and a New Orleans "RUM for the Cure!" specialty cocktail prepared by our good friends at New Orleans Rum.
