As the time for First Fridays: "Fashion Fest" draws closer and closer, our models will gain opportunities to be interviewed and let the NewOrleansBlack.com audience get to know them a little better before the show. Second is Ashley, more commonly known as "Princess".

How long have you been modeling?
I've been modeling since I was two years old. I started with JC Penny as a toddler model.

Did you want to continue modeling as you were growing up?
Oh absolutely! I love modeling. I just loved entertaining altogether. I'm also a singer and dancer.

So, how did you get involved with the First Fridays: Fashion Fest show?
I did a show previously with NewOrleansBlack.com and had an absolutely wonderful experience. I tried out again for this show and made the cut.

How do you feel about your modeling now?
I've definately learned a lot about myself in this industry. I've had so many great experienes and I love the fact that I get to meet other people working in this industry.

What are some current stats on "Princess" Ashley?
Age: 22
From: New Orleans - 8th Ward
High school: St. Mary's Academy
College/Univ: Xavier University
Major: Music
Current title: student and bartender/waitress

What are your aspirations for the future?
I definately want to stick with the entertainment industry. I absolutely love it. I see myself possibly being an actress or a "top" model. (giggles). Who's to say that it's not possible?

"Whatever 'Princess' wants, 'Princess' gets!" - I basically don't takne "No" for an answer. If I can't someting I want from one place, I move on to the next to get the answere I'm trying to hear.
