Singer Keyshia Cole is currently in the studio putting the finishing touches on her sophomore album, Just Like You, which is slated to hit stores Sept. 18. The Benny Boom-directed video for the album's first single, "Let It Go" featuring Missy Elliott and Lil' Kim, will be shot next week.
In addition to working on her new album, Cole also recently signed on to star in a second season of her hit BET reality show, "The Way It Is." The show, which premiered last summer, followed Cole around as she adjusted to her fame. The new season will focus on Cole's preparation for Just Like You, in addition to her mother's recent release from prison, Billboard.com reports. In one of the more touching episodes of last year's "The Way It Is," Cole was shown visiting her estranged mother behind bars. Cole and her manager, Manny Halley, will serve as the show's executive producers.
